Disabilities (CQCAPD)
CQCAPD is a State agency charged with improving the
quality of life for New Yorkers with disabilities and protecting their rights. It promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of community life, provides individualized advocacy services, advice and training on disability issues and

The New York Relay Center
 The Relay Center enables people who are deaf, hard-of hearing, deaf-blind or speech disabled
to make and receive personal and business calls in the same way as any other telephone user. An individual calls the Center, using a telecommunications device for the deaf (TTY), and a service operator “relays” the call to the call receiver and acts as an intermediary. The service is also available to anyone who would like to call a person who has one of these disabilities.  There are no restrictions on the length or number of calls placed and there is no charge for using
